       在分子尺度电子学中,我们利用分子作为功能单元构筑电子器件。我们利用跨学科的理论与方法,包括物理的、化学的、电子学与材料学的,研究微观尺度下跨越分子的电荷传递的基本化学与物理机理。这些机理将帮助我们更深入的理解许多电荷传递相关的基本过程,如溶液中的氧化还原反应、光合作用中的电荷分离与传递、微尺度晶体管、整流器的运行原理等。我们的研究将最终服务于微观体系中电荷转移的调控和新功能的实现,如控制生物体系中电荷传输以调节生物功能,以及分子尺度电子器件的构筑。

Research Experience

1. Dec. 2012 ~ present, electron-phonon interaction in self-assembled monolayer and proteins molecular junction. Exploring the effect of vibrational modes on electron transport through organic molecules and proteins by inelastic tunneling spectroscopy (IETS) and pump-push photo-current measurement.

2. Jan. 2009 ~ Nov. 2012, study on modulated energy and charge transfer of flavin-base donor-acceptor system by multi hydrogen bonding molecular recognition. Supported by Energy Frontier Research Center (EFRC) in university of Massachusetts Amherst. Paper published in Physical Chemistry and Chemical Physics.

3. June 2008 ~ 2012, explore soft and deformable nanoparticle materials and their special ionic and electronic charge transport properties. Paper published in Advanced Materials.

4. June 2007 ~ May 2008, study on polymer gels base on complementary hydrogen bonding, their formation, surface patterning and functionalization. Work has been published in Small.

5. May 2004 ~ Aug. 2006, studied on wetting property of surface modulation by self-assembled monolayer, supervised by Prof. Xi Zhang, Chemistry Department, Tsinghua University P. R. China.

6. Sep. 2003 ~ May 2004, studied on Electrochemistry property for polyelectrolyte multilayers, supervised by Prof. Xi Zhang, Key Lab for Supramolecular Structure & Materials, College of Chemistry, Jilin University, P. R. China
