Tianjin Key Laboratory of Molecular Optoelectronic Science
was established in 2015. The research concept of this lab is “based on fundamental research, focusing on interdisciplinary”. Considering great needs in the fields of energy, information and material science, we established the following research chain-“structure design and synthesis-material preparation - device construction - technological promotion and application. We focus on solving problems related to molecular structure and the relationship between preparation methods and device performance during the development of conjugated molecular photoelectric materials so as to acquire new photoelectrical functional materials that have proprietary intellectual property rights from the origin and promote the application of molecular photoelectric functional materials in flexible and wearable devices.

  

In order to guarantee our research, the lab has advanced and thorough hardware devices with specially-assigned staff to manage in scientific standard. At present, our lab has 400 MHz nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscope, MALDI-TOF-MS mass spectrometer, SmartLab X ray diffraction, SuperNova X ray single-crystal diffractometer, SU8010 field emission nscanning electron microscope, Dimension Icon Atomic Force Microscope, PPMSDynaCool Physical Property Measurement System, the photoelectric integrated device preparation system, Quantum Efficiency of Solar Cells/Spectral Response/IPCE test system, Keithley 4200 semiconductor properties preparation system, Zhongke Dawn high performance parallel computing platform and other large equipments.

 

Our lab highly focuses on the integration of industry-university-research cooperation while pays attention to the research of frontier domains. Through the cooperation with Tianjin Binhai New Area and contributions to the synthesis and application of organic photoelectron new materials, we developed various new material products with proprietary intellectual property rights, which have been applied to the production of laser OPC and OLED. The products, preparation technology and quality are at the leading level in China.
