2026年9月11日，受天津大学李立强教授邀请，Cell Press Rob Eagling博士在天津大学卫津路校区第三教学楼会议室开展了题为“Cell Press: Where we are and where we are heading”的学术报告。

本次报告简要介绍了期刊 Cell Press 的发展历程，重点介绍其近一年新上线的期刊Cell Press Blue。报告聚焦于人工智能在科研和日常生活中的应用，同时也分享了Eagling博士在出版社十余年的工作经验，并且讲解了论文发表的相关要点。

报告结束后，与会师生向Eagling博士请教了有关论文写作，撰文思路等相关问题。本次报告吸引了实验室及相关课题组的广泛关注。

报告人简介：Rob Eagling got his degree and PhD from Newcastle University before starting at the Royal Society of Chemistry in 2001. He left the RSC in 2015 to start as the Chief Editor of Chem. Chem is the No.2 ranked journal in chemistry with an IF of 19.3. In April of 2025, he left his position on Chem to be a full time Publishing Director, where he is responsible for new launches in chemistry and sustainability as well as looking after a team of 20+ editors.
